Barqz is building a premium, membership-based grooming and beauty brand. This is not a walk-in, inconsistent barbershop—we operate with structure, systems, and a focus on client retention and elevated service.

We are looking for skilled barbers who take their craft seriously and want to grow their income.

If you’re used to cutting hair with no structure, this will feel different.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality grooming services:
• Fades, tapers, and scissor cuts
• Beard grooming and shaping
• Hot towel shaves (preferred but not required)
• Provide professional consultations and recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional station
• Rebook clients and contribute to membership retention
• Uphold brand standards in service and presentation
• Participate in content creation (social media exposure encouraged)

What We’re Looking For

• Valid NY State Barber License
• Strong technical skills and consistency
• Attention to detail and professionalism
• Reliable, punctual, and disciplined
• Ability to communicate confidently with clients
• Sales mindset (upselling services and memberships)
