We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services while ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our clients. Your expertise in hair styling, color theory, and customer service will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in the beauty industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and hair extensions.
• Utilize straight razors and other tools to achieve desired styles and looks.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in the salon.
• Use salon software, specifically MINDBODY, for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Offer exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering phones, and managing retail sales.
• Educate clients on hair care products and techniques while promoting upselling opportunities.
• Mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and retail sales.

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license required.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and hair styling techniques.
• Experience with hair threading and various hair extension methods is preferred.
• Proficiency in salon software applications such as MINDBODY is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Retail math skills for managing sales transactions effectively.
• Previous experience in store management or mentoring is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.84 - $28.71 per hour
